A growing private school in Brooklyn is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team! This hybrid role offers excellent growth potential and valuable exposure to property accounting, with a salary of up to $70,000 annually.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial operations related to both leased and owned properties
• Assist with daily accounting functions and team support
• Perform bank, credit card, accounts payable, and payroll reconciliations
• Post accounts payable transactions, allocations, and journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Take on additional tasks as needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
