Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with approximately 2 years of professional accounting experience to join our growing finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build on foundational skills while gaining exposure to all facets of general accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, process-driven, and committed to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and general ledger entries

Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Assist in preparing journal entries and supporting documentation

Help compile internal financial reports and variance analysis

Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and compliance

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data

Support process improvements and system updates as needed
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2 years or more of relevant accounting experience (internships may be considered)

Familiarity with GAAP and basic accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems or cloud-based accounting platforms

Knowledge of payroll processing or expense reporting tools

Prior experience supporting audits or financial reporting
