Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to manage weekly payroll for a high-volume, multi-location operation. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and capable of ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations.
- Reconcile timesheets, bonuses, deductions, and garnishments.
- Maintain and update employee records including new hires, terminations, and pay changes.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies in coordination with operations and HR.
- Ensure accurate calculation and payment of statutory withholdings (taxes, benefits, etc.).
- Prepare reports such as payroll summaries and tax reconciliation reports for management.
- Support employees with payroll inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
- Assist with annual tasks including W-2 processing and year-end reporting.
- Identify and suggest improvements for payroll procedures and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of high volume hands-on payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and tax compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Software Experience:
- Payroll Platforms: Paycor, ADP, or Toast
- Accounting Software: Great Plains or Sage
- Other Tools: Microsoft Excel and general office software
