Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Tampa, FL
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Tampa-based team. This role requires a well-rounded candidate with a variety of general commercial maintenance skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and a team-focused mindset. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while supporting site-wide maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks across multiple disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC support (EPA Universal not required), carpentry, and painting.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve routine facility issues promptly and effectively.

Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and systems are operating efficiently.

Respond to service calls and urgent maintenance requests, including participation in on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Ensure work is completed in accordance with safety protocols, building codes, and compliance regulations.

Collaborate with property management, contractors, and team members to ensure a safe and well-maintained facility.

Provide excellent customer service and foster positive tenant or occupant relations.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial maintenance is required.
- Must have the ability to read blueprints

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with a willingness and ability to learn new skills.

Familiarity with general maintenance procedures and best practices.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with team members, vendors, and customers.

Must be a team player and self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred:
-
Stability in previous roles, including multifamily maintenance experience.

Basic understanding of HVAC systems; EPA Universal certification is a plus but not required.
