Accounts Payable Analyst (APABP)

Overview

job salary$60,000 - $70,000/year
job locationFlorida -- Miami
job typePermanent

We’re working with a stable, growing company that’s looking to bring on an Accounts Payable Analyst to support their accounting team. This isn’t your typical AP processing role—this is an opportunity to dive deeper into the data, identify trends, and play a key role in improving processes and financial accuracy.

If you have a strong foundation in AP and want to transition into a more analytical, value-adding role, this could be a perfect fit.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyze AP data, trends, and vendor activity to support financial reporting

  • Reconcile vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments

  • Review and refine payment processes for efficiency and accuracy

  • Assist in month-end close related to payables and accruals

  • Work cross-functionally with procurement and finance teams to improve AP workflows

  • Support internal audits and SOX/internal control processes

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment

  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

Why this role stands out:

  • Opportunity to grow beyond transactional work into strategic finance support

  • Exposure to cross-functional projects and financial systems

  • Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
