Job Description:

• Accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders, including data entry and verification.
• Dispensing medications to patients, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Assisting pharmacists with medication compounding and preparation when required.
• Maintaining an organized and well-stocked pharmacy inventory.
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, offering medication counseling, and resolving issues professionally.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to process prescription claims.
• Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts to optimize pharmacy operations.
• Upholding the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal pharmacy technician training preferred.
• Current state Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
