We are currently seeking a Junior Partner Attorney with 5 or more years of healthcare law experience to join a well established legal team in Coral Gables, FL. This is a high-visibility role ideal for an experienced attorney ready to step into a leadership track while continuing hands-on litigation and client engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare litigation, arbitration, and mediation, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a docket of healthcare-related litigation, arbitration, and mediation cases.

     

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, delivering strategic legal guidance and fostering strong relationships.

     

  • Supervise and mentor associate attorneys and support staff.

     

  • Oversee all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, trials, and settlements.

     

  • Advise healthcare organizations and professionals on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and operational matters.

     

  • Collaborate with senior partners on firm strategy and business development initiatives.

     

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

     

  • Member in good standing of the Florida Bar - required.

     

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare law with a strong litigation portfolio.

     

  • Demonstrated experience in arbitration and mediation.

     

  • Strong leadership, client management, and negotiation skills.

     

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.

     

  • Must be able and willing to work onsite in our Coral Gables office.
