Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Training on 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM shift for first 30 days)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Utility Associate to support daily manufacturing operations. This role is essential to keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are available, inventory is tracked accurately, and finished goods are properly prepared for shipment.

This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced production settings. Experience in plastics manufacturing is a strong plus.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support production lines by supplying materials and removing finished products
  • Build and organize pallets for work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods
  • Accurately track and record production counts throughout the shift
  • Assist with staging, loading, and labeling shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Load and unload trucks and move materials to designated areas
  • Monitor and report downtime, including causes and duration
  • Perform basic quality checks (visual and/or using measurement tools)
  • Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product type
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 6S standards
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a safe work environment
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience required (production environment preferred)
  • Plastics manufacturing experience is a strong plus
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work on your feet and handle physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
