Accounts Receivable Clerk (ARNVBP1)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable professional with Medicaid billing experience to join a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of the collections process, understands the nuances of healthcare reimbursement, and is driven to improve cash flow while resolving complex billing issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own the full-cycle invoicing process, including manual creation and review of invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness across client facilities
• Manage Medicaid billing and collections, including follow-up on outstanding claims, denials, and reimbursement discrepancies
• Distribute invoices and take a proactive approach to collections, following up on outstanding balances via email (primarily) and phone
• Maintain detailed, audit-ready records of invoices, communications, and payment activity across a high volume of accounts
• Monitor aging reports and actively drive down past-due balances to improve overall cash flow
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client Accounts Payable teams and billing contacts to ensure timely payments
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, including Medicaid-related issues, partnering with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex claims
• Support audits and compliance efforts by providing organized documentation and clear communication trails

Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Medicaid billing and/or healthcare AR required (long-term care or facility billing preferred)
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or B2B Collections
• Strong understanding of claims follow-up, denials management, and reimbursement cycles
• Excellent communication skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of accounts with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
