Senior Property Accountant

💰 Up to $120K

Growing real estate firm seeking a hands-on Senior Property Accountant to oversee a residential portfolio (~1.5K units across 20 properties). High-visibility role with team oversight and involvement in financials, reporting, and system improvements.

 What You’ll Do

• Manage full-cycle property accounting, month-end close, and reporting
• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, including rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and collections
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast and provide explanations to management
• Oversee consolidations, GL, and variance analysis
• Supervise 2 staff (Jr. Accountant + Accounting Admin)
• Support Yardi transition (Breeze → Voyager) and streamline processes
• Partner with leadership on budgeting and portfolio performance

 What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of accounting experience (real estate preferred)
• Residential property accounting experience a plus (rent-stabilized / affordable housing)
• Yardi experience (Voyager strongly preferred)
• Strong Excel + hands-on, detail-oriented approach
