Customer Care Specialist I

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Care Specialist I to serve as the first point of contact for customers. This entry-level position is focused on delivering exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, processing orders and quotes, and resolving basic customer issues.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to build a foundation in an office-based customer service and order management environment.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely, professional manner
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and order status

Issue Resolution

  • Resolve basic customer concerns related to orders, accounts, and product information
  • Escalate more complex issues as needed

Order & Quote Processing

  • Enter, modify, cancel, and confirm customer orders and quotes
  • Ensure all order details are accurate, including product selection, shipping, and payment information
  • Follow up on pending or delayed orders and provide updates to customers

Product Knowledge

  • Learn and apply foundational knowledge of products, services, and policies
  • Use knowledge to provide accurate customer support

Documentation

  • Accurately record customer interactions and order activity in ERP or related systems
  • Support a seamless order-to-cash process through consistent data entry

Team Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams to resolve customer needs
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment

Customer Experience

  • Deliver high-quality service focused on customer satisfaction and relationship building

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional education is a plus but not required

Experience

  • 0–2 years of customer service experience
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles is a plus

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
