About the Opportunity:

A growing Jacksonville-based manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Corporate Quality Manager to lead quality management across the organization.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced quality leader who can evaluate existing programs, build scalable systems, strengthen process discipline, and personally drive implementation. The Corporate Quality Manager will serve as the company’s primary quality subject-matter expert and partner closely with executive leadership, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is comfortable building processes within a growing, resource-conscious organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal business processes.
  • Own ISO certification activities, including audit preparation, surveillance audits, corrective actions, certification maintenance, and recertification.
  • Develop and improve quality policies, procedures, work instructions, documentation, and record-control practices.
  • Establish, monitor, and report quality metrics and key performance indicators to executive leadership.
  • Lead internal, certification, customer, supplier, and other external quality audits.
  • Manage corrective and preventive action and nonconformance processes.
  • Facilitate root-cause analysis, corrective-action implementation, and effectiveness verification.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Operations to investigate quality issues and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Oversee supplier qualification, supplier performance, supplier audits, corrective actions, and supplier-development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on new-product development, engineering changes, product launches, and lifecycle quality requirements.
  • Support customer-quality activities, including complaint investigations, corrective actions, reporting, and customer audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide quality training, guidance, and support across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, process discipline, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Approximately seven or more years of progressive quality experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or materially leading a manufacturing Quality Management System.
  • Hands-on experience supporting ISO certification, audit, documentation, and corrective-action activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 14001 or experience supporting an integrated management system.
  • Experience leading internal or external quality audits.
  • Experience managing corrective actions, nonconformances, and root-cause investigations.
  • Manufacturing-quality or supplier-quality experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, improve, or scale quality programs and processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees across multiple departments.
  • Ability to balance strategic program development with hands-on execution.
  • Experience maintaining quality documentation and records within an ERP, QMS, or comparable business system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Experience supporting industrial, heavy-equipment, engineered-product, or OEM manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with global OEM customers or suppliers.
  • Experience with supplier qualification, supplier audits, and supplier corrective actions.
  • Experience supporting new-product development, engineering changes, launches, or customer-quality programs.
  • Working knowledge of quality and continuous-improvement tools such as CAPA, FMEA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, SPC, 8D, Lean, or Six Sigma.
  • ASQ certification such as CQM, CQA, CQE, or a comparable credential.
  • Experience working in a growing, transforming, or small-to-midsized manufacturing organization.

What Success Looks Like:

The successful candidate will strengthen quality ownership across the company, improve the consistency and scalability of the Quality Management System, support ongoing ISO compliance, reduce recurring quality issues, improve supplier and manufacturing performance, and provide leadership with meaningful quality data and recommendations.

Why Consider This Opportunity:

  • Direct visibility and partnership with executive leadership.
  • Opportunity to shape the company’s quality strategy and infrastructure.
  • Broad influence across Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, suppliers, and customers.
  • Meaningful role in supporting organizational growth and operational maturity.
  • Competitive base salary of $120,000 to $135,000.
  • Bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact across quality, operations, and customer satisfaction.
