Position Overview: We are seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize cheese-making machinery. Your expertise will ensure operational efficiency and uphold quality standards in our clients' manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct service interventions and installations at customer sites in North America and Canada.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide emergency support and remote assistance to clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Train production staff on equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Trades apprenticeship or college degree in a related field, plus 3+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years of experience in lieu of formal education).
• Experience: Mechanical and basic electrical expertise in industrial equipment (food, chemical, or similar sectors).
• Certifications: OSHA 10 or 40 preferred; strong safety awareness is essential.
• Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing machinery; familiarity with PLCs is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively.
