Operations Support Specialist

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Salary: $20-$22 per hour

Position Overview: As an Operations Support Specialist, you will work closely with the sales and manufacturing team. Strong Excel experience is required as you will use spreadsheets day in and out, filling out information on their products, fix errors on spreadsheets of product information, and group together items that correlate with one another. Experience with filtering, sorting, Vlookup, and pivot tables is ideal. We are looking for a critical thinker, someone with a strong attention to detail and very organized.

In the beginning of the year and a few times throughout the year there are tradeshows that this role with assist preparing for in the warehouse. Their trade shows are mostly at the beginning of the year- majority of the trade shows being January-March. This role will work with the Logistics team to print shipping labels and tracking information when they must send the products out for tradeshows. They will also ship catalogs to regional sales managers and clients time to time. In the beginning of the year when tradeshows are back to back, the last person in this role was mostly in the warehouse day to day during that time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide account support, including new product introductions (NPI Spreadsheets) and updating product photos & data for assigned company accounts.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with assigned and new accounts.
  • Assist company accounts and manufacturing representatives in obtaining marketing and sales support materials.
  • Handle calls and emails from company account customers, escalating urgent issues to the Sales Support Manager as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of information on National Account websites related to company product lines ("scrubbing").
  • Maintain technical knowledge of all products to effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Log detailed records of communications and activities.
  • Manage website data and maintain files on the shared drive, including spreadsheets and marketing materials.
  • Complete assigned projects and support outside sales team requests related to company accounts.
  • Coordinate trade show logistics in collaboration with the Marketing Department, including shipping of materials and booth supplies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in written composition preferred.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations is required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in a similar role or industry knowledge is a plus.
