HIRING NOW - MUST READ!! Are you ready to join an exciting, fast growing organization? We are looking for a Project Accountants to join our clients organization in South Florida. 

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing full cycle accountant.
• Running job cost meetings quarterly with personnel from various offices.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Maintaining the Work in Progress Schedule.
• Creating and entering journal entries to the general ledger.
• Creating financial statements.
• Performing tax preparation - payroll taxes, business privilege tax, etc.
• Work with various auditors – year end audit/payroll audits, sales and use tax audit, etc.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven accounting experience managing construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of construction industry required. 
• Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel – Advanced Proficiency in Excel is a must ), Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate required.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work well with others and manage teams of individuals.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
