Ascendo Resources is actively seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a reputable and growing construction firm. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity offering a competitive salary, generous benefits, and a collaborative work environment.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented CPA looking to grow with a well-established firm.

Location: Astoria, NY 11101

Industry: Construction

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Key Highlights:

• Must have an active CPA license
• ESOP compliance experience is highly preferred
• Immediate need – ready to hire!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze internal GAAP financial statements
• Monitor and ensure compliance with ESOP regulations and bank credit agreements
• Coordinate attest work with external CPA firms
• Oversee timely and accurate filing of all tax returns
• Develop and maintain financial projections to support strategic business planning
• Report directly to the CFO

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification (active) required
• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Construction accounting experience is a plus
• Familiarity with CMiC construction accounting software preferred
