Ascendo Resources is growing!  Looking to hire a business development focused Executive Recruiter within the South Florida market. This is the recipe for success and what will be expected of you: 

Business Development

  • Identify and target potential new clients in the IT sector through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective accounts.
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand staffing needs and present service offerings.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with new clients.

Recruiting

  • Source, screen, and interview IT candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent roles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a network of IT professionals to quickly respond to client needs.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job postings, candidate submissions, client interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience and timely communication throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT recruiting, technical sales, or staffing agency business development.
  • Strong understanding of IT roles (software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, data, etc.).
  • Proven track record in cold calling, lead generation, and closing new client accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
