 The Role

They seek an experienced Indirect Tax Senior Manager to lead the sales/use tax function and support property tax and audit activities. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance with indirect tax regulations while driving process improvements and strategic tax planning.

Role is 100% on site in Flower Mound TX area - not hybrid or remote

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of indirect tax returns (sales tax, GST) in compliance with U.S. and international regulations.
  • Advise the business on indirect tax implications of transactions, products, and services.
  • Manage and coordinate indirect tax audits, including documentation and responses to authorities.
  • Develop and implement indirect tax policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, and legal teams to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
  • Research and analyze tax legislation changes and assess business impact.
  • Provide training and guidance on indirect tax matters to staff.
  • Drive process improvements in indirect tax compliance and reporting.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s, CPA, CA, or CTA preferred).
  • 8+ years of indirect tax experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations; experience in multinational corporations preferred.
  • Familiarity with indirect tax technology, automation tools, and ERP systems a plus.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex regulations.
