Ascendo Resources is hiring a Mammography Technologist to work at a healthcare facility in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, you’ll perform mammograms to help detect breast cancer early. You’ll work with doctors and care teams to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms following safety and quality guidelines.

• Use and maintain mammography equipment, including 3D (Tomosynthesis) imaging.

• Help with breast procedures like ultrasounds and biopsies.

• Position patients correctly to get clear and accurate images.

• Explain procedures and provide comfort and support to patients.

• Keep accurate records and input data into electronic medical systems (PACS, EMR).

• Follow all safety, privacy, and infection control rules.

• Work with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and follow-ups.

Requirements:

• ARRT (R) certification required.

• ARRT (M) Mammography certification (or willing to obtain it soon).

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.

• 1–2 years of mammography experience preferred.

• Knowledge of 3D mammography, PACS, and EMR systems.

• Good communication and people skills.

• Comfortable working with diverse patients in a busy clinical setting.

• Able to stand for long periods and help position patients safely.
