We’re seeking a detail-oriented AP Data Entry Specialist for a contract opportunity through November. This is an excellent entry-level role for someone eager to gain experience in a corporate setting, particularly in finance and accounting operations. If you’re looking to grow your skills in vendor management and data entry while working with ERP systems, this is a great stepping stone.

What You’ll Do

This position supports a large-scale vendor data cleanup and ACH transition project. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate vendor records and compliance with internal procedures by:

• Managing and updating vendor records across multiple ERP systems

• Reviewing new vendor forms and change requests for completeness and accuracy

• Verifying vendor details—including banking and tax (W-9) information

• Communicating directly with vendors to confirm data

• Coordinating with the AP Manager to relay ACH information for bank payment templates

• Collaborating with Purchasing to validate vendor approval and spending limits

• Assisting IT with ERP functionality testing related to vendor management

• Supporting vendor inquiries regarding payment status

Note: This role does not involve invoice processing.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable, vendor maintenance, or data entry preferred

• Comfort making outbound calls and working with confidential financial information

On Site-Monday - Friday business hours 8am-5pm
