Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full audit process for privately owned business clients, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up phases
  • Evaluate risk and design audit procedures tailored to the unique needs of each client
  • Perform in-depth testing of financial statements, internal controls, and business operations in line with current audit standards
  • Interpret financial results, identify trends, and offer recommendations to strengthen financial and operational controls
  • Prepare and review audit documentation, financial statements, and supporting reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business goals and providing practical advice for improvement

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
  • CPA license or progress toward certification is preferred
  • At least four years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit and assurance for privately held companies
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, auditing standards, and internal control systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage audit engagements from start to finish
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to draw insights from data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with both clients and internal teams
