Ascendo Resources is actively seeking a Grants Analyst with Government Contract Billing and PASSport experience to assist with a 3+ month contract assignment.

Our client, a reputable non-profit is located in Midtown Manhattan, NY 10020.

This is a fulltime, fully onsite role.  The Grants Analyst must have city/state government contract billing and PASSport experience.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm (35 hour work week)

Pay Rate: $40/hr - $45/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit monthly billings for contracts with the Department of Homeless Services (DHS), HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA), and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DoHMH)
  • Ensure accurate recording of transactions, including allocation of staff time across various grants and contracts.
  • Reconcile revenue and expenses to ensure full utilization of government funds and grant compliance.
  • Compile supporting documentation and perform analyses in preparation for internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in government grants and contracts accounting, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
  • PASSport experience
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with city and state agency billing processes and regulations is a plus.
