My client is a well-established community bank in Brooklyn, NY. They are seeking a Branch Manager to join their team and oversee daily operations, drive branch performance, and foster a culture of customer service and community engagement. This individual will manage a team of frontline staff, ensure compliance with internal controls, and collaborate with regional leadership. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead all aspects of branch operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and compliance.
  • Manage branch sales activities by setting goals, monitoring progress, and coaching staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, local businesses, and community partners.
  • Promote bank products and services, including checking, savings, small business, and lending solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory policies, internal controls, and audit procedures. 
  • Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of branch employees.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in retail banking, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with branch systems and platforms is a plus.
