Our esteemed client in Chester County, PA is looking for a CTD Operations Associate to join their organization. The CTD Operations Associate is responsible for performing the daily operational activities within the depot, ensuring the efficient receipt, handling, and shipment of drug and clinical trial supplies in compliance with standard operating procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure the smooth and accurate movement of products within the warehouse.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receipt of Drug and Clinical Trial Supplies:
    Ensure that all drug and clinical trial supplies are received in accordance with established procedures, verifying product specifications and quantities upon arrival.
  • Generation of Shipping Documentation:
    Create accurate shipping documentation based on study requests, ensuring proper compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Inventory Management:
    Create inventory pick-lists within the Warehouse Inventory Management System (WMS) to maintain accurate stock levels and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Physical Picking of Drug Supplies:
    Conduct physical picking of drug supplies and related materials, including lab kits, from within the warehouse for timely shipment.
  • Inspection of Picked Supplies:
    Perform quality checks on picked drug supplies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the products before shipment, collaborating with other associates when necessary.
  • Preparation of Shipment Export Documentation:
    Prepare export documentation for shipments in accordance with international regulations, ensuring compliance with all shipping protocols.
  • Shipment Acknowledgement:
    Process shipment acknowledgements of receipt, confirming successful delivery to clients or distribution centers.
  • Post-shipment Notifications:
    Notify clients post-shipment to confirm receipt of supplies and ensure that all necessary follow-up actions are completed.
  • Stock Control:
    Maintain accurate inventory levels through periodic cycle counts and regular stock audits to prevent discrepancies.
  • Processing Return Shipments:
    Handle the processing of returned drug supplies, including reconciliation and coordination for destruction, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for safe disposal.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for data management, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  • Attention to Detail and Customer Focused:
    Excellent eye for detail to ensure the accuracy of all operations and a strong customer-focused attitude to meet client and regulatory expectations.
  • Ability to Work Independently & Under Pressure:
    Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a warehouse environment, with preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated setting.
  • Education:
    Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of the CTD Industry:
    Basic understanding of the Clinical Trial Drug (CTD) industry, including industry-specific regulations and best practices related to clinical trial supply management
