Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a Business Performance Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Brooklyn, New York. Salary range is $80,000 - $120,000.

Our client is a sports-focused ticket reseller. We're looking for a proactive, analytical, and sports-savvy Business Performance Manager to own our ticket and seat inventory strategy. You’ll determine what’s profitable, what’s underperforming, and what needs to change — fast. This isn’t a back-office reporting role; it’s a hands-on position where you’ll make renewal, buy, and sell decisions that directly impact revenue.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze sales data, pricing history, and market trends to identify profitable vs. loss-making inventory.
  • Make renewal decisions on accounts — renew, relocate to better sections, or walk away when necessary.
  • Partner with operations, pricing, and sales teams to execute renewal and relocation strategies.
  • Monitor market conditions (trades, injuries, team performance) and adjust inventory strategy in real time.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards that track profitability and performance.
  • Identify issues quickly and coordinate solutions — you don’t just flag problems, you fix them.
  • Use data insights (sales, pricing, market comparables) to recommend which tickets or sections to acquire next.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong analytical mindset — you can look at data and immediately see where we’re winning or losing.
  • A true sports fan who follows trades, standings, and player news daily; you understand how the market moves.
  • A hands-on operator with an ownership mentality — you act like it’s your own money on the line.
  • Proven ability to translate analysis into action, coordinating cross-functional teams to execute.
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking — you understand why numbers are changing, not just that they are.

What Success Looks Like

You protect the bottom line by optimizing our inventory in real time — making smart buy/sell/hold decisions, improving profitability, and preventing losses before they happen. You combine data with instinct, understand context, and make things happen.
