EDI Analyst

The EDI Analyst will play a key role in the design, implementation, and ongoing management of EDI integrations within the bswift benefits administration platform. This position requires a strong grasp of EDI standards and file formats, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal technical teams to ensure accurate and efficient data exchanges.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in benefits administration systems and EDI transactions, along with a strong technical foundation in configuring and maintaining data feeds for employee enrollment and eligibility management.


Key Responsibilities

EDI Implementation & Support

  • Develop, implement, renew, and manage EDI transactions to ensure seamless data flow between the bswift platform and external systems such as carriers, payroll vendors, and HRIS platforms.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain integrity of enrollment and employee demographic data; generate and deliver accurate, timely reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Client & Vendor Collaboration

  • Partner with clients, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate file feeds, troubleshoot issues, and support implementations, renewals, and ongoing file maintenance.

Issue Resolution & Documentation

  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve EDI-related issues; document root causes and solutions to enhance process efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Training & Support

  • Provide guidance and training to team members and clients on system functionality, data flow, and EDI best practices.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.


Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in benefits administration configuration.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with EDI transactions.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting or configuring the bswift platform.
