Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused team member to join our Hours of Service (HOS) Team in the logistics department. This role will primarily support data entry tasks related to driver logs, compliance, and Hours of Service regulations, while also handling customer service inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a basic understanding of DOT/FMCSA compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, verify, and maintain accurate driver log and trip data in compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

  • Monitor electronic logging device (ELD) data and flag discrepancies or violations.

  • Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and operations teams to resolve HOS-related issues in real-time.

  • Provide support via phone and email to address inquiries related to driver logs, hours, and regulatory compliance.

  • Generate reports on HOS performance and violations for internal use or regulatory audits.

  • Assist with tracking and managing driver compliance documentation.

  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to HOS compliance specialists or supervisors.

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all data processing and communication.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant coursework in logistics, business, or data management preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.

  • Strong typing and data entry skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ELD systems (e.g., Omnitracs, Samsara, KeepTruckin) a plus.

  • Knowledge of FMCSA Hours of Service regulations is preferred but not required (training provided).

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
