Residential Loan Processor – Terrific Firm, Role and Benefits

Join a very well-established banking client of ours who needs an organized Residential Loan Processor rockstar ASAP!

Our client is seeking an experienced (3+ years) Residential Loan Processor to join their large and active banking team in Miami.

This position's remit is to ensure an efficient and compliant loan process, where you'll play a key role in supporting residential lending from the application stage through to closing!

Responsibilities

  • Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare required loan disclosures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirement
  • Prepare denials, counteroffers, re-disclosures, and change-of-circumstance documentations
  • Track loan status and communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and other colleagues
  • Maintain full knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards like BSA/AML, CDD, EDD, etc
  • Address and resolve underwriting conditions to achieve "Clear to Close" status
  • Order appraisals, credit reports, flood determinations, and other supporting docs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recent mortgage processing and banking experience (required)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong understanding of residential lending processes, compliance, and documentation
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
