Audit Manager – Hybrid (Orlando, FL)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our growing team in Orlando, FL. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while developing and mentoring staff in a collaborative, professional environment. The Audit Manager will oversee multiple assurance engagements, provide technical guidance, and play a key role in building long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred)
- Active Florida CPA license or equivalent professional credential
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities
- Proven leadership skills with experience in training and mentoring staff
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Commitment to continuing professional education (minimum 40 hours annually)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of assurance engagements, from planning through completion
- Supervise and mentor staff while fostering a culture of professional growth
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service delivery
- Oversee engagement teams to ensure projects meet deadlines and budget expectations
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff on complex accounting and auditing matters
- Participate in recruiting, performance evaluations, and career development initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leadership to resolve client issues and recommend improvements
- Monitor risk assessments, engagement efficiency, and overall audit quality
