International Accountant - Law Firm Experience

Location: Onsite | Miramar, FL

Ascendo Resources is hiring an experienced International Accountant for a full-time, onsite role in Miramar, Florida. This position supports global financial operations, ensures compliance with firm standards, and contributes to tax, FP&A, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting workflows and month-end close process.
• Manage reconciliations between Aderant and statutory systems; support development of local teams.
• Assist with tax documentation and transfer pricing compliance.
• Support FP&A with data gathering and performance analysis.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues; recommend process and policy improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in legal or service industries.
• Experience with multinational operations and ERP systems (Aderant, SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with AP workflows, FX, and tax implications.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Technology Skills:

• Proficiency in Aderant
• Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
