Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced finance team within the retail sector. This role is ideal for an experienced AP professional who thrives in high-volume environments and enjoys streamlining processes using SAP and Excel. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing while supporting month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable for multiple retail locations or divisions

• Process high-volume invoices in SAP with precision and attention to detail

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently

• Prepare and review weekly payment runs and aging reports

• Support month-end close, accruals, and expense reporting

• Identify process improvements and contribute to best practices

• Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams to ensure compliance and accuracy

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience (retail or multi-location environment preferred)

• Proficiency in SAP and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas required)

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions with minimal supervision

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
