Job Posting: Insurance Risk Manager
Location: Rutherford, NJ (Hybrid: 4 days onsite/1 remote)

Job Description:
This newly created role is due to company growth and will report directly to the head of treasury. As the Insurance Risk Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company’s insurance, letters of credit, and bonding processes. You’ll play a key role in coordinating insurance renewals, reviewing contracts for insurance requirements, managing workers' compensation reporting, and handling special projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with internal teams to ensure proper management of risk exposure.

Manage the annual insurance renewal process, including the completion of applications and preparation of necessary documents.

Review contracts to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.

Oversee WC reporting and compliance for various monopolistic states.

Manage and monitor insurance claims, reserves, and reports.

Handle the review of Letters of Credit and bonding needs for both internal and external projects.

Assist with the annual insurance audit process.

Participate in special projects and filing duties as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.

5-10 years of professional experience in insurance (preferably in the construction industry).

Strong communication and relationship-building skills to work across global teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize and report findings effectively.

Experience with SAP is a plus, but not required.

Compensation: Up to $110K base salary with a bonus potential of 10-15%.
