A privately held real estate investment and management firm is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail shopping centers and commercial properties across Massachussetts and New York. This is a hands-on, field-based position that involves frequent property visits and a strong focus on maintenance, construction oversight, and tenant relations. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and construction projects for multiple retail and commercial properties. 
• Conduct regular property inspections and provide detailed reporting to management. 
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, compliance monitoring, and performance reviews. 
• Supervise contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards. 
• Maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. 
• Assist with annual budgeting, capital planning, and financial reporting. 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial property management experience, specifically within retail or shopping center environments. 
• Proven background in construction management or facility maintenance. 
• Strong understanding of construction processes, costs, and vendor oversight. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. 
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
