Accounts Payable Analyst (Temporary – 6+ Months)

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Pay: $25–$28/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP
Industry: E-commerce / Luxury Goods

A leading e-commerce company in the luxury goods industry is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for a 6+ month temporary assignment, with potential of converting to permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for an AP professional with strong SAP and Excel skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience
  • SAP experience required
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs)
  • Experience processing 300–400 invoices per week
  • Strong communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work overtime during peak periods

Responsibilities

  • Process and track high-volume invoices with accuracy
  • Pull, analyze, and format AP data from SAP for reporting and approvals
  • Assist with weekly payment runs and cash reporting
  • Review invoices for coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
  • Resolve vendor payment inquiries and invoice discrepancies
  • Support reconciliations, AP aging reports, month-end close, and accruals
  • Maintain vendor records, including tax forms and banking information
  • Provide support on ad hoc accounting and operational projects
