Billing Specialist

Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a growing logistics and transportation organization in Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for supporting billing operations, reviewing invoices for accuracy, processing billing transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Please note: Mandatory overtime is required, particularly during month-end and the final two weeks of each month.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and timely
• Verify billing information and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Maintain billing records and supporting documentation
• Communicate with internal departments regarding billing inquiries and corrections
• Utilize Excel and company systems to track billing activity and generate reports
• Support month-end billing processes and deadlines
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks related to billing operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and billing procedures

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Billing, Accounting, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
