Our team is partnernig with a well-established regional law firm that is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their office in Greenville, SC. This role supports a busy defense litigation practice with a focus on construction-related matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of defense litigation, from case inception through trial
  • Draft, format, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Manage case files, including document organization and electronic filing (state and federal courts)
  • Coordinate and track deadlines, hearings, and trial preparation activities
  • Review, summarize, and organize discovery materials, including medical and construction records
  • Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed
  • Support trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (defense and/or construction litigation preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of court procedures, rules, and e-filing systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
