Customer Service Representative – Revenue Management Department

  • Pay: $20/hour
  • Schedule: Hybrid, Full-Time (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Hybrid WFH on Fridays arfter training
  • Location:, Kendall Office – Miami
  • Training: Onsite for 4-8 weeks

Position Summary:
We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join our Revenue Management team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while assisting patients, attorneys, and internal/external customers with billing inquiries and account resolutions for all BHSF facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate patient identity and demographic information.
  • Analyze patient account balances and review billed services in detail.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns, including coordinating with departments such as Financial Assistance, Charge Review, Patient & Guest Services, and Claims Management.
  • Process contractual adjustments according to Managed Care contracts.
  • Respond to all incoming calls in a high-volume call center setting.
  • Utilize system resources to promptly resolve patient issues.
  • Process and document incoming patient mail within a 7-10 day timeframe.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent training/experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare call center.
  • Proficient in medical terminology and revenue codes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, math, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (preferred).
  • Ability to handle challenging callers, multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is required.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid schedule after completion of 4-8 weeks of onsite training at the Kendall office.
