Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team in Orlando, FL. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting while working in a fast-paced and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and assisting with general accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment to vendors
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
• Assist with reconciling vendor statements and responding to inquiries
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 0-2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (internships welcome)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
