Our Client is a prestigious law firm located in the heart of downtown Orlando, known for our exceptional legal services and professional environment. The team works with high-profile clients, and currently seeking a full-time Trademark Legal Assistant to join the growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to advance their career in a collaborative and dynamic legal environment.

 

Position Overview:

Trademark Legal Assistant with at least 5 years of current law firm experience who can work100% onsite to support the Senior Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of solid work history within a law firm environment and be proficient in handling trademark filings at the state, federal, and USPTO (Patent Office).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the attorney's calendar, meeting with the Senior Attorney to review handwritten notes, and ensuring efficient document processing. Excellent typing skills (minimum 45 words per minute) and organizational abilities are a must for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • File Trademark Applications: Handle filings with the state, federal, and USPTO.

     

  • Attorney Support: Manage the Senior Attorney's calendar and schedule meetings.

     

  • Document Preparation: Assist with drafting and proofreading legal documents.

     

  • Client Communication: Manage communication with clients and handle sensitive information.

     

  • Meeting Preparation: Work with the Senior Attorney to review handwritten notes and prepare for meetings.

     

  • Office Management: Maintain organized and efficient office systems, including filing and document storage.

     

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm environment, preferably with a focus on trademark law.

     

  • Strong working knowledge of state, federal, and USPTO trademark filings.

     

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and calendar management.

     

  • Excellent typing skills (minimum 45 words per minute).

     

  • Ability to efficiently handle and prioritize multiple tasks.

     

  • High attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

     

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

     

  • Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
