Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote – Fashion/Retail Apparel)


Location: Remote (Occasional onsite meetings near Koreatown, Manhattan if you live in the area)


Schedule: Part-Time, Approx. 20 hours/week (Flexible)

About the Role:
A dynamic and fast-growing retail apparel brand is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team on a remote basis. This role will play a key part in clearing backlog, maintaining accurate AR records, and supporting credit memo processing with a strong focus on Amazon and other major retail accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and track credit memos in Blue Cherry ERP.

  • Retrieve deduction and chargeback information from Amazon and other customer portals.

  • Reconcile chargebacks and apply credit memos to open invoices.

  • Clear and offset open AR items, especially related to Amazon.

  • Ensure accurate general ledger entries for credit memos.

  • Support the cleanup and organization of legacy AR data.

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer AR records.

  • Partner with Finance and AR teams to ensure consistent, accurate reporting.

  • Communicate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and clarify deductions.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally within fashion or retail.

  • Blue Cherry ERP experience is required – please highlight this in your application.

  • Hands-on experience working with Amazon vendor/partner portals and resolving chargebacks.

  • Proficient in reconciling complex AR issues and managing credit memo processes.

  • Strong understanding of AR accounting principles.

  • Detail-focused with strong organizational and data entry capabilities.

  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working across multiple systems.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous experience in a fashion/apparel company.

  • Familiarity with additional ERP systems or financial software.
