Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for a full-time, permanent role. 

Our client is a growing food distributor located in Pedricktown, NJ. 

We are seeking a Production Supervisor with 3+ years of experience. Our role offers a salary up to $80,000 with a 10% bonus, great benefits, and unlimited PTO.

Overview:
A fast-growing food production company is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in ground beef production and steak fabrication. This role involves supervising associates, managing production schedules, ensuring safety and quality standards, and supporting process improvements. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Production Associates to meet daily production goals

• Manage machinery operation (film, label, die changes) and troubleshoot issues

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, GMPs, and SOPs

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on sanitation requirements

• Participate in production planning, labor tracking, and scheduling

• Provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary support to team members

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)

• 5+ years’ experience in food manufacturing; beef processing preferred

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

• Ability to lift 60 lbs and work in cold/humid environments

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

• Forklift operation knowledge is a plus
