Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software under the guidance of senior engineers and designers. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in CAD design.

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.

• Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to develop design concepts.

• Interpret sketches, technical drawings, and specifications to create accurate CAD models and blueprints.

• Organize and maintain CAD files and drawing documentation.

• Assist with preparing project documentation and reports.

• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and project requirements.

• Participate in design review meetings and incorporate feedback.

• Support team members in various design and drafting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (additional software like Revit, Inventor, or MicroStation is a plus).

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Eagerness to learn and take direction from senior staff.
