💼 Position Title: Medical Assistant (MA)
🕒 Type: Temp-to-Hire
💵 Compensation: $17–$18/hr
📅 Schedule: Three (12-hour) rotating shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends. Schedule is posted monthly and equitably rotated (e.g., one week may be Mon–Wed, the next Fri–Sun). Must have full availability.

Position Summary:
As a Medical Assistant, you will support our clinical team and providers in delivering outstanding patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Triaging patients and recording vital signs
- Performing blood draws, venipuncture, and specimen collection
- Completing lab work and preparing treatment rooms
- Administering medications and vaccines per provider orders
- Assisting with procedures and patient exams
- Managing front desk duties (check-in/out, insurance verification, payment collection)
Requirements:
✅ One of the following:
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant, EMT (EMT-A only), Paramedic, or Radiologic Technologist program
- Active RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification
- OR 6+ months of MA experience in a relevant setting (must include phlebotomy)
- OR licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience and signed supervisor reference verifying MA-level responsibilities
✅ BLS Certification (required; may be completed prior to start if not already held)
✅ Must not have applied to CareSpot within the past 6 months
Preferred Background:
- Experience in urgent care, emergency departments, or ambulatory settings
- Comfortable with rotating schedules and weekend work
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
