Job Title: Medical Assistant – Ocala Location

Location: Ocala, FL
Schedule: Full-time

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant for our Ocala location. This position requires either a valid Medical Assistant Certificate or a minimum of 6 months of verified experience as a Medical Assistant. A special reference sheet will be required to confirm work history, to be completed by a previous employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient intake, including vital signs and medical history

• Prepare exam rooms and assist healthcare providers during examinations

• Perform basic clinical procedures as directed

• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations

• Support front office with scheduling, patient check-in, and documentation

• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and environments

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certificate OR at least 6 months of verified MA experience (documentation required)

• Current BLS Certification (must be submitted with application)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to patient confidentiality and quality care
