Job Title: Payroll Manager (w/ Ceridian Dayforce)

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary: Up to $80k/year

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for both union and non-union staff across multiple sites. Reporting to the Controller, this role supervises the payroll team, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, and serves as the key liaison between Payroll, HR, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review multiple bi-weekly and weekly payrolls
• Ensure compliance with wage, tax, and labor regulations
• Supervise and support payroll staff
• Coordinate with HR and other departments to maintain accurate records
• Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations, W2s, and 1095s
• Support internal and external audits
• Stay current with payroll legislation and provide policy guidance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• CPP strongly preferred
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including union and multi-site processing
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in MS Office and Teams
• Ceridian Dayforce experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
