Position Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Remote Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations. You'll play a pivotal role in managing bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records, and collaborating effectively with the finance team in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.

• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial tracking.

• Prepare, classify, and post journal entries and supporting documentation for financial statements.

• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payment of obligations.

• Support month-end and quarter-end closings, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.

• Assist with tax preparation, expense reports, and audit documentation.

• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain and update electronic accounting records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.

• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems.

• Solid understanding of GAAP, journal entries, and reconciliations.

• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required.
