Our client is a dynamic and growing law firm in Los Angeles, California iseeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in homeowner property damage litigation. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience working at a law firm representing Plaintiffs in cases involving wildfire, wind, or flood damage. Candidates with relevant experience on the insurance defense side are also encouraged to apply.

This is an onsite position, offering the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative legal team dedicated to advocating for homeowners impacted by natural disasters and property loss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial and settlement.
• Draft and manage legal documents including complaints, discovery, motions, and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and evidence.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings related to property damage and insurance coverage.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses to gather documentation and prepare for depositions and trial.
• Assist with calendaring deadlines and managing litigation timelines.
• Review insurance policies and claims to support case development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in Plaintiff-side property damage cases.
• Experience with wildfire, wind, or flood damage litigation is highly desirable.
• Candidates with insurance defense litigation experience will also be considered.
• Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
