Job Title: Senior Corporate Accountant

Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in office / 1 day remote)

Compensation: $90,000+
Reports To: Assistant Controller
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, and supporting month-end close, internal controls, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical accounting expertise, public company experience, and a passion for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX internal controls, and company accounting policies.
• Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets.
• Prepare and file monthly SALT tax filings (AZ, HI, CA, CO).
• Manage vendor invoice postings in ERP, ensuring proper coding and period alignment.
• Oversee credit card expense imports into ERP from Concur.
• Prepare monthly financial uploads into corporate ERP.
• Handle prevailing wage filings, certified payroll, and other contract administration deliverables.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with prevailing wage documentation.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and documentation.
• Support external and internal audits with schedules and documentation.
• Adhere to company policies, including ethics, confidentiality, insider trading, and safety.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as needed to support the accounting department.
