Corporate Banking Lending Associate

Our client is a well-known So. Florida commercial banking institution that is a part of a worldwide group of financial institutions (present in more than 10 countries). This market-leading organization is seeking a Corporate Banking Lending Associate to join their Corporate Banking Department.

Our ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) and possess strong corporate banking lending experience (at least three years).

This Lending Associate will provide comprehensive support to Relationship Managers while managing complex loan portfolios and ensuring exceptional client service in the dynamic corporate banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers with daily management of corporate loan and deposit portfolios.
  • Resolve complex uncollected and overdrawn-related issues for corporate banking clients.
  • Maintain loan portfolios with minimal past due accounts and strong asset quality.
  • Handle new account openings ensuring full regulatory compliance and documentation.
  • Manage all aspects of corporate depository accounts including openings, closings, wire transfers, and large transactions.
  • Execute BSA compliance matters including high-risk account management, ECS exceptions, and KYC procedures.
  • Provide expert customer service for account inquiries, loan payments, and internal transfers.
  • Support lending team in achieving optimal portfolio risk profiles and strong client relationships.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of corporate banking lending experience – absolutely required.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (speak, read, write both languages).
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state banking compliance regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume environment.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced corporate banking setting.
