Senior Credit & Collections Analyst

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit & Collections Analyst to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing high-volume accounts receivable collections, evaluating customer creditworthiness, and supporting financial reporting. The position requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to resolving payment issues, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage collections for assigned high-volume customer accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes, including warranty-related issues.
  • Review customer payment history and account status to make credit decisions in line with company policy.
  • Prepare and present monthly A/R reports to management.
  • Process paperwork and obtain approvals for customer refunds of credit balances.
  • Serve as a back-up to the Credit Manager as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to address discrepancies and reconcile accounts.
  • Maintain participation in industry credit groups and complete regular reporting requirements.
  • Support other credit and collections activities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit, collections, or an accounting environment.
  • Proficiency with automated A/R systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the aviation or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business applications.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary range: $60k-75k, with eligibility for overtime. Final compensation will be based on experience, education, and other job-related factors.
